This is something rather different than my style, but I felt like drawing mushrooms. Later I decided to draw the tree and the crows. The "fairies" were something I added because the picture was looking to empty. And I still think it is, maybe I should add a background with a blue marker- but I'm afraid not to ruin the picture. =/

I adore working with markers, and I love the fairies's faces, they looks cute on sunlight, but they shure look creepy in the dark.

Somehow everything that's beautiful, like trees, castles or even the park near your house look creepy at night. But I like it when it looks creepy. :D It's like a whole new world.

(tip: one of the birds is actually a pigeon- the one on the top of the tree-, but it looks like a crow because it's black)

Evil little fairies... I love their looks too.
Your description is interesting, to have a lovely look during the sunny hours, but revealing their real evil nature in the night.
And also love the curled branches of the tree.

As for the background, leave it as it is, I think adding a dark colour would swallow both the tree and the fairies, but you still can try it digitally, so if it won't look good, you still can undo it :)

Thank you alot! The first version I added to DA was too bright, so I worked it on photoshop to darken it. I think it would look even better if their eyes were glowing, but I don't know how to do that.
Well, for instance if you go to the woods at night, everything would look scary, but if you go when the sun is up, it would be beautiful.

Nope, I think I wouldn't even try making a background, I think you are right. It would swallow the tree and thefairies. :)

You can make their eyes glowing with drawing a selection around the white parts of their eyes, and increase the value of the brightness a little, deselect, draw another selection again and add more brightness and so on (if you're adding much brightness within one selection, the result won't look good, and will be obvious it is digital. ) Just like on this one [link] those bright lights are digital :)
Yes, I love the nature at night, it's a bit scary, but I like that kind of chill :D

I used a thin brush, and made it on "soft light" or something like that. The result wasn't what I expected, but it still looked good. Your way of doing it sounds more promissing, I will use it next time. :)
I was always wondering if the Reaver was made digitally too, or only the eyes. It turned out great, no one would knowtist it's digital, if you didn't say yourself. :)

I like scary things too. :D I especially love storms- with lightning and pouring rain, but I won't be aible to draw a lightning, EVER (or I have to practise alot to be aible to do it. :D )
